Is anyone as behind in holiday decorating as I am? I feel like I've been playing catch up ever since Thanksgiving ended. I finally had a chance to finish up my Christmas tree, just in time for those of you who are still looking for inspiration.
I've been obsessed with ribbon wrapped trees this year, so I thought I'd switch it up and add some fun accents and textures to my Christmas tree! I ordered this amazing tree from
Wayfair and fell in love with it. It was on sale for only $150 and it came prelit and frosted (which made my life so much easier). I chose a slender tree to take up less space in our apartment. I found almost all of my tree accents at
Hobby Lobby and
Home Goods and right now they both have some major deals on holiday decor and wrapping paper, so I'm not ashamed to say I spent 2 hours in Hobby Lobby last week!
It took me a moment to decide on my color scheme, and then it hit me - it's everywhere in fashion & jewelry right now. It seems like every fashion ad is mixing and matching metals so why shouldn't we? It only makes sense to put all of those tones together. So I decided to incorporate rose gold, yellow gold, and white gold, as my main color scheme; and boy-oh-boy, was I in love with the finished product!
I'm so thrilled with how my tree turned out and I can't wait to finish decorating the rest of the house. I made a list of the places where I found all of my favorite accents for this project and these are must-haves on your shopping list this holiday season:
7ft Christmas Tree - Wayfair
Rose Gold Ornaments - Wayfair
White Christmas Crate - Home Goods
Silver & Gold Reindeer - Target
Sheer Gold Ribbon - Hobby Lobby
